And 18 of the theoretical, so good out put!

It's been a good day that's finally coming to an end, although I don't have to spend my evening giving marks to exams like you.

That is part of the job! Cant help it!
I am glad that you having a good day, it is not obvious.

I've done all I can do inside; now I've got to break it down into separate components so I can reassemble it in it's final location when the weather permits. Once I get the walls in position & secured to the base, I'll start on the roof.
That's how I did my last coop as well. Was a lot easier to move it in pieces.

It is not obvious that every day is a good one,
And about you, your avatar say it all! Obviously

This is true.

.... I'm a perfectionist, ... remember the 16" firewood) so I usually fix them.
I also wind up making way too many trips to Lowes for tools I own but can't find, or material I forgot or didn't know i needed ( aka CRS ). Add to that various interruptions, such as sleeping, eating, procrastinating, keeping the woodbox stocked, fixing ATV's & mowers, tending to DW's needs, and a lot of non-building time is consumed,

Were I to hatch out chicks before having proper housing for them beforehand, they'd be grown & hiding eggs all over 3 acres.

...
I feel you on all the above. Lucky I have a Lowe's about 2 miles away, a Home Depot across the street from it and a Handyman Hardware a block farther.
I got my first 9 day old chicks with the thought I'd build a coop right away. They were big enough to start roosting on my daughter's trampoline cage at night and laying eggs around the yard before they actually got one.
No predators where you live?

My 3yr is just snuck the iPad in his shirt and told me he didn't need me to tuck him in for naptime, he will do it himself.
