So the great city of Indianapolis has just given me a very good reason to move to the country. City ordinance took effect on April 1st. Went from chickens not being regulated, to only being able to have 12 adult birds (adults are 8 months of age and older).:barnie

I would tell you to move to Pennsylvania, but I don't think you want to do that.

You can also make a stack of omelette shells. Separate with freezer paper. Eggs can be cooked in the microwave, but with an omelette shell already made, it's more heating everyrhing up. It tastes better than nuked eggs.
I scramble eggs in the microwave all the time. Actually, just add a splash of moo juice, whisk, pop into the oven, in a small high-sided dish, cover, and cook for 95 sec. Depending on the size of the dish, it's the perfect size for an English Muffin. Add a sausage patty (sorry, Benny) and a slice of cheese, and I'm good to go.

Good morning, how does the freezing work out. Use them for baking only?

I sell all extras to the guys at work.

I just crack them into muffin pans, then freeze and pop them out into a zipper bag. Save them for when winter hits and you aren't getting eggs anymore.

People report the yolk texture is strange after freezing, but I never noticed that when the eggs would freeze in winter and I would collect them. I just thaw them out and use them like normal eggs. Baking, cooking, breads, pastas, whatever you need eggs for they work. Husband eats them sunny-side-up so I let it thaw in a teacup and just pour it into the pan.

You can pickle them see in this thread

1/100th of an inch? They get precise with it? They'll tell you they weren't wrong........that all that happened was ya got the 10% all day long.

The problem with these accurate forecast is that we have to go by what they say with our building now. Anything over 3/8 of an inch pretty much shuts the job down. So all the guys miss a days work for an error on the part of the weather man. Soon we will be told what leg to put out of bed first.

You are totally right. However, the microwave eggs are the only ones Duckling won't eat.
