Anytime, Chicky.Thank you for your reply! I have decided to let her sit on 12 only. Still waiting for my double trouble bantams to sit together on a nest. Those two girls are a force together.
That's good to know, considering I found some yesterday & tossed them over the fence to the birds. As in the post before your's, some of the birds ignored them, some ate them, & some pecked at them once, then ignored them.
Yeah they are not interested in food moving in them I think. Something about the texture I guess.
We have millions of them here. I'm sure many get eaten, but I try not to worry too much about it.That's good to know, considering I found some yesterday & tossed them over the fence to the birds. I put together a list. -Kathy

YEPNice batch of chicks.
You are keeping them in quarantine correct. Separate from your other birds?
If I felt any better, I couldn't stand it. Super glad you're feeling good, too.Good!! I am going to try to get some things done today! lol wish me energy and luck too!! How are you ?![]()
Anytime, Chicky.
I would caution you though; broodies are subject to quit on you, abandoning the clutch of developing eggs. It's a good practice to have a 'bator & brooder on standby & ready to go if she quits.
BTW, there's no such thing as a dumb question here.
