yeppers

cockerel

I am glad a bit better, keep on healing!!!
I am sorry about his surgeries and issues, saying prayers and well wishes.

you have TEN CHICKS!!!!!  how many eggs are in it?
I have20 in there. Now 11 has hatched. The only ones that hasn't piped is my blue eggs. None of the has a pip at all.

BTW, while 12 hours (as well as the nine hours I believe it was) is within 36, 36 is a long stretch. Give yourself some credit!

Nah!

Chicken Canoe was offering (not sure why. I was surprised!

), Still shuddering when I think of something else you said. Then I try not to cry. I am way too easy!

I like then about the same. One scares me because he would never mean what he thinks he means. Ditto for the other.

Just with an additional qualm.
I can't remember all that you were responding to, but Chaos had it a little off. I am a bear for reasons you guys may not be thinking about, and he might have needed to explain, but I am not brave enough to explain anymore.
Go ahead and slap me. I am used to it.
If you were to meet me, you would be confused by the difference. Online people aren't real. Sometimes they are better. Sometimes they are worse. I am both.

I scream, "Hi!" and wave at stop lights.

As I said before, you can't straighten out something that is already straight.

To the "unfair" crier several have quoted. My 3 young nephews and niece lost their father Sunday to the flu! THAT isn't fair! There will be no graduations with Daddy in the stands. There will be no Daddy walking his baby girl down the isle. THAT is not fair! Their house is sold, and they have six weeks to find another one because my sister can't afford the house they were supposed to move into. THAT is not fair!
What did I say this time?

@lazy gardener

@wabbit1964 Nice chick, good luck on the rest. What are they?
@LittleLakePhil Good luck fishing. May you catch some good ones and have some peace. Praying for you and your wife.
@Ur-ur-ur-urrr When do you get to candle?
@MotorcycleChick I have two young boys making noises too. The theory is that they are crow attempts. I agree it is funny. When are you going to the funeral? BTW are you sure it is coffee she drank to sleep so soundly

@casportpony Sorry about your hen. I need to go read about that cause of death. At least the piggies are easy to diagnose if sad.
@kwhites634 Good luck with the mower. I can't help. Do you want to do mine next?

Maybe you should call CC; were it not for him, mine still wouldn't be running @canadachickens

@canadachickens

Anyone ever tell you you're a genius
The mower is running as I type!  :ya  Finally!!!

I took your advice & put the jumper cables directly to the mower cables, fired up the truck, & hit the switch. The engine turned, but not at full speed, & didn't try to fire.

I pulled both plugs, burned off any oil (though I saw none), shot a little starter fluid into each plug hole, pulled the foam air cleaner (which was dirty) but didn't replace it, sprayed a little starter fluid into the carb port, & hit the switch again; fired right up.
I haven't a clue as to which action worked, but something did.

Just for chits & giggles, I reconnected the battery; started right up! I guess the battery's good, after all.

The mower's still running; I want to burn up all the gas left in the tanks from last season (which I thought I'd done last Fall after I was done mowing) & start all over with fresh gas.

I washed out the foam air cleaner (gotta love Dawn detergent) & set it in the sun to dry. Once it's dry, I'l put it back in place & see if I can get the grass mowed.

I talked to a small engine mech yesterday & arranged for him to come out Saturday, @ $25/hr, in case I couldn't get it running...I'll contact him again if I have no further problems.

Many thanks, my friend; you saved me a lot of extra time & God knows how much money, & I'm more grateful than you can ever know.  :bow

Glad you got it going. Drives me crazy when I work so long on something to get it going and realize I don't know what actually fixed it. Heck, who cares it's up and running so good job. Gas aint worth a flip these days. Old gas is even worse.

Good morning...well...almost afternoon here...

Baby and I are still fighting the crud but I think we're both a bit better than yesterday.
My 9 yr old stepdaughter's mom text me this AM saying her husband (stepdaughter's stepdad...who is only 40 I think?) had a heart cath done Mon and is undergoing bypass surgery today for several blockages. If everyone could say a prayer for him. They were at the hospital waiting to hear surgery time today.

Happy Hump Day everyone...it IS Wed right?? lol I'm so off on my days lately with being sick!!
