Don't worry, they'll find ways to escape the new habitat as well :D

thanks
I just found somthing very odd in my coop, a unfortunate dove that enterd to the coop have been killed by 2 Cockrells and partly eaten by them!
I find small rock doves in my Cream Legbar coop all the time (It's almost all open air with HW cloth) - they actually manage to fly in through the pop door, the little idiots. I have to catch them and let them out before they bash their little brains in trying to get out...

Because Paula had a huge liver full of tumor, I looked this up in the differential. I think I recall that the bird usually has other signs of obesity (Paula was very thin). That's also usually how it works in people. Was your bird fatty/obese?

Fiesta starts tomorrow. Sounds fun, but I grew up in New Orleans, and I'm over the floats and drunk people thing. Problem is that EVERYONE is obsessed by it - they've been handing out and trading fiesta medals for weeks now. The hospital cafeteria was INSUFFERABLE today - migraine inducing decorations and blasting fiesta/mariachi music. Too bad they don't keep pain killers at each entrance. I'll be building tractor coops and planting my garden all weekend, and hopefully won't even have to leave the house. (But we do get a holiday for the Battle of Flowers next week, so at least there's that...)

BEST. POST. EVER.

GAHHHHHH!! EHAL chick escaped a brooder in the garage!! Thankfully I caught it...I heard someone cheeping extra loud...definitely need to get older chicks to the outdoor coop & run & move the littlest to the bigger, more secure brooders!!

Yesterday evening, while I was refilling the food, one of the Black Copper Marans babies managed to get around the barriers by the brooder door and hurl himself out and to the tile floor. He ended up ok, but was EVER so surprised to find himself there, and freaked out until I caught him and got him back inside. They are so rambcunctious! @flocktastic did you see my feeder and waterer recommendations?

Quote: I thought it was all one thing as well (which I was sort of excited about...). Of course, I like Naked Neck anything...

Quote: Is there a way you can do an online review of the vet? I would (and let them know you will - they might suddenly decide to give you your money back).

Where everybody go?
Fell asleep for several hours after work, just getting caught up...

that's cool! All around that massive tree

After calling AT&T earlier today about my internet issue and the line test didn't result in anything, they decided to set me up an appointment with a service tech tomorrow anyway. I just got a call from them saying the issue is in the network, and they had cancelled my appointment. I hope it works like it's supposed to now. I was in the process of writing this post (after refreshing the page 20 times to get it to load) when the call came.

If not, I hope everyone has a great evening and an even better night!
G'Night if we don't hear from you again!

She was never fat, and the liver looked almost food enough to eat. She had some fat in her abdominal cavity, but not that much.
