I want to join the May HAL as well!!! Of the eggs currently set, one batch will hatch on May 5th, the next 100 or so will hatch on May 9th!! I'm sure I'll be hatching more after that!!

I don't care... I love it ALL! Which is why I don't have an auto feeder/waterer/recessed nest boxes to collect from the outside or a non- walk in coop, to me it takes all the fun out of it.

Sooooo..... YES! I will clean brooders, coops, ANYTHING for a chance at being in a room filled with incubators and ducks and chicks and ducks and guineas and ducks and WHOOPS! I forgot the ducks!!

I ain't believing this!

Just got a call from the guy I took the mower to....all better already...he didn't have it 2 hours...pick it up tomorrow.
Was a single wire shorted out in the harness. The same wire the guy who was here Saturday said he'd checked.

Well, I am glad it is solved but I am sorry it was such a hassle

I'm what you'd call "cautiously optimistic" at this point. Won't be fully convinced 'til I've mowed the whole place w/o a problem.

Had an early morning shower, then turned muggy. It's pleasant now, so I may attempt to work on my new coop when I get home from work. Then again, I may just enjoy doing nothing for a change...

Oh, and no worries on the Geese- after the geese my neighbor had, I don't think I'll be getting them for a while. One pinned a 3yr old down and attacked her....

I vaguely recall 'someone' saying they couldn't get ducks, either. You happen to know who that was?
