ok,so the other four eggs are turning black in spots what does it mean

It means you should stop messing with them... I think you will get the best hatch rate if you literally completely ignore her. Not sure what that black would be but they have the best chance of survival if you practice the art of "no touchy".

My hen got 5/6 eggs to hatch all by herself... You do not need to mess with broodies.

Well, that is quite true. Same thing with eating chocolate, I have not had a problem with zebras invading my house since I started! Those pesky beasts used to drive me crazy. Not any more.

Tried that once; within a day my garden was trampled and they ate holes in the bedspread!

I had a heifer or steer meandering around the coop several nights ago; found the spoor & tracks next morning. No cattle really close here; had to travel at least a 1/4 mile.
