Congrats on the broody and the solo bator chick!  Any hope for the others, or are you giving up on them?  I've had some horrible hatches, I've had some great hatches!  I hope your next hatch is MUCH better!! 

they are staying in there til atleast Monday. We are only a day and half over right now. I have the directions they are leaning marked on paper just in case they wiggle at all I'll know. Also have an old camera phone set up to monitor them while I'm at work staying positive and looking at all this as a terrific learning experience and am already looking to improve how my incubator functions.

Off to set a few posts, before I end up spending the day right here & accomplishing nothing. Got to get this run set up so I can cook some eggs.

Me too but it's too wet to do any digging. When I dumped the rain gauge yesterday it had 5/8" in it. It has been raining since before midnight today.

i have lost complete attempts at incubation, around 6 dozen eggs, i figure each time is different and i learn something new everytime

How did you set up the phone camera? my mom was telling me about this but i am far from tech savy

Happy to know after building this thing from scratch it works. now it's gotta be meticulously fine tuned.

Phone set up was easy. App is called Alfred tho there are others. Both devices need to be android, you sign into the same Gmail account with both and it's pretty much done.
Easiest one I've come across so far. Convenient because I only have Android devices.
