What tickles me is a lot of times, rather than start at the bottom, they'll get about half way & fly up. They ain't real bright sometimes.

Well as long as they tuck the wings in before they get to the doorway they shouldn't have any problems.

Two of mine sit in the doorway, blocking the access, 'til the next one gets tired of waiting & bulls her way through, or I grab one & push her through or over. Fortunately, I don't have any peckers unless one is broody, which doesn't often happen.
