Wow! I have not seen any. I am going to get some with zebra frames, just for style... I would get purple, but the roosters might object.

I am locking down tonight....when I get home.....not sure how late that will be..... It will also be day 7 on the eggs I set for a fertility check....22 silkies and the first eggs laid by my teenage EE's. My silkie eggs haven't been fertile, and my poor 11 month old Silkie Roo (daddy to all the babies I've hatched) died over the weekend. So, I'm hoping my 7 month old roo starts stepping up the plate....

Update to the ice chest I left on the steps of the UC Davis Pathology lab Sunday night.... I called their receiving area. I said, I drove up Sunday and - at that point she started laughing and said "left an ice chest". We chatted for a bit, with her giggling the whole time, she put me on hold for a few minutes to check on the status of things. She came back, still laughing, and told me they were working on the birds as we spoke. , I did NOT ask them if they thought it was a bomb. But something about the whole situation really hit her funny bone. I am hoping that both Gotro17 and I get answers as to why our young chickens died suddenly.

Selfle with the ducks. Oh my! I am looking old!!!

New pool. As soon as I walked away though, he jumped out to follow me.

I spent a whole heck of a lot of money buying dinner yesterday for Duckling and her father. If you have never heard of Denny's Beer Barrel and Pub, then you don't know that Clearfield Pennsylvania has America's biggest burger. Or is it the world? Hmm...

It might look a little odd, but is the only light in the living room. Other than a small table lamp that is. I have been meaning to hang up that light for about four years now. I am glad I finally got it done!

This is the only Cockerel that I see that takes after his father. Other than the fact that so many look like Barred rocks that is.

I may no longer be a beauty queen, but that look on her face makes it worth sharing this horrible picture.

She figured out how to get to the doorbell on the front sunroom. The dog is not impressed!!

She was playing with that onion most of the day. She was even rocking it! It was too funny when she realized that it fit into the cap of the creamer.

The ducklings will now wander all over my yard as well as the neighbors'. While I don't want them over there, it was too funny when they were swimming around in the neighbors' huge puddles the other day! Seven ducks swimming around it's just really funny to see when there is usually no water there.
