Yeah really. it was the same way growing up in northern Alabama. First duty station was AK. Boy were my eyes opened. They wanted me to come to work after 2 ft of snow. Spent 6 years up there and every year once the first snow came we would have drivers ed in a empty parking lot for all the new arrivals.

I think it was a weird white styro cooler taped with WAY more tape than was needed (I thought I was going to be shipping them). sitting out front. I really drove away wondering if they would think it was a bomb. I may have left a weird voice mail about the package on their stoop as I was driving away.

I also used newspaper as the absorbent material you need to include, when shipping. I found a couple of UC Davis articles and I spread them out so that they would be the first thing anyone would see on the inside.

Not sure what she found funny. Maybe it's because they tell people there is a fridge to leave these birds in, but in reality there isn't. Their camera's recorded me pacing around this building 3 times, looking for that fridge.
