New pool. As soon as I walked away though, he jumped out to follow me.

I spent a whole heck of a lot of money buying dinner yesterday for Duckling and her father. If you have never heard of Denny's Beer Barrel and Pub, then you don't know that Clearfield Pennsylvania has America's biggest burger. Or is it the world? Hmm...

It might look a little odd, but is the only light in the living room. Other than a small table lamp that is. I have been meaning to hang up that light for about four years now. I am glad I finally got it done!

This is the only Cockerel that I see that takes after his father. Other than the fact that so many look like Barred rocks that is.

I may no longer be a beauty queen, but that look on her face makes it worth sharing this horrible picture.

She figured out how to get to the doorbell on the front sunroom. The dog is not impressed!!

She was playing with that onion most of the day. She was even rocking it! It was too funny when she realized that it fit into the cap of the creamer.

The ducklings will now wander all over my yard as well as the neighbors'. While I don't want them over there, it was too funny when they were swimming around in the neighbors' huge puddles the other day! Seven ducks swimming around it's just really funny to see when there is usually no water there.

LOVELY IMAGES MC!! you are in no way old!! I just sent Mike a pic of me, my hair has gone natural in the past several months plenty of grey and eyes as black as can be!!! you are NOT OLD! NOT EVEN CLOSE!!

We have external pips and lots of peeps coming from the bator. We should have chicks in the morning. One day early. My bator must run a degree hot.

AWESOME!!!! GO BABIES!!

Ok, I just moved a LOT of eggs into lock down. The hatching bator is FULL!! Had to take out a couple of the thermo/hygros. Let's hope the 2 I left in do their job! Count is 22 Mille Fleur D'Uccle and 4 Black Crested Polish that looked great, and I heard very loud chirping! But I also have 17 Black Copper Maran that I can not see into. I threw them all in and we'll see what hatches!

I have 2 other FULL incubators. Most starting day 15 right now, others on day 7. Tonight I added 11 Fly Tyer eggs, and 16 eggs from the 5 month old hen's that just started laying, some light brown, some green, some pink. We'll see what we get I have no idea if they are fertile. The first ones I set were a DARK green, and I can't see into them.

I guess I need better flash lights!

I'm hoping I have pips/zips or chicks in the morning!

You could try wrapping them if you think it's a problem. I've seen this before in some of my peachicks and poults, and they grew out of it.

Just hopping in to say I've got another couple dozen RIR eggs in route, so I'll be firing the bators up once again in another day or two. I really hope USPS will treat these eggs a little nicer, and I can have a better hatch than the last batch...

First timer...
I am hatching white leghorn eggs in a little giant incubator. When I got them half were refridgerated, and all of them were put in the incubator about 24 hours after being played. For most of the Time the temperature has been constant. At lockdown all eggs looked good when candled. On day 20 however the temperature was down to 85. I don't know how long it was like this. Now we are on day 23 and none have pipped. I need help! Did I loose the batch?

I just calibrated my brand new, never used IncuTherm +plus ther / hyg
I put it in a zip-loc bag, inside a larger zip-loc full of ice cubes, for about 20 minutes
It came out reading 7.7 degrees high!
