Just hopping in to say I've got another couple dozen RIR eggs in route, so I'll be firing the bators up once again in another day or two. I really hope USPS will treat these eggs a little nicer, and I can have a better hatch than the last batch...

Before you give up you can try candeling or float testing them. Information about that is on the first page of the thread in the links. I am mobile and can't link them for you. Don't be discouraged there is a learning curve and you can't help mechanical error.

Prbly would be. It causes nightmares in lakes though. Once you have it it's a nightmare to get rid of.
You apparently "need" to often.
Oh, yeah, unfortunately. Don't know duck grass, but duck weed can take over a pond in hot weather; makes trying to fish a PITA...always fouling lures.
