@chicken hawk 33 How is the flooding clearing up? Did you get your run back? I agree that you need to toss all but one broody out of the nest boxes (or read up on broody busting). I am glad you did not have to move. It sounds like you have a whole way of life not just a house there.

I have 4 1/2 month old hens and a roo that have started laying. The EE's are laying green eggs. One of the eggs was a torpedo shape. LONG and skinny. I didn't want to incubate it, cuz of the weird shape. Cracked it open this morning and it was a double yolker. I spent a lot of time even looking for a white spot on the yolks, Could find a white spot never mind a bulls eye. If this double yolker wasn't fertile, what's the chance the other eggs that I've collected are? They started laying 2 weeks ago. Today I got a HUGE green egg. Somewhat elongated. I'll crack it open tomorrow, are there some chickens that regularly lay double yolked eggs?

I keep tossing them out they even sit right at the edge of the nest boxes and still eggs out as there layed.got some of our run back.and yes it's more then just a house.

It is but the aloe we have I can only use 3-4 times daily and I need more than that.

Ouch I have had 2nd degree sunburn with blisters and scabs before it was really 3rd degree in some places. Talk about miserable. They make an aloe with I think its lidocaine in it that is called ice or something it's wonderful and better if you keep it refridgerated.

PO PO TA TOES grated and then blend to death in a blender, COLD potatoes feel awesome! Not sure what vitamins are in them or if its starches or combo that helps but it works, and I know, as I have been desperate a few times in life Justin please RATE your sunburn

I am definitely more of a albino/tomato person lol I wish I could tan more DH2B gets so tan during the summer(a farmer) that he looks Latino. I have two small bowls of rice in the bator but is there something else I can do?

Hi Dear been crazy busy lately but I wanted some help if you can. The incubator was running about 28% humidity which I'm fine with BC the eggs are a bit behind due to the stagger, but we got rain last night and the humidity jumped up to 37% and even higher. I have two small bowls of rice in the bator but is there something else I can do?

I run at about 35%, so I think 37 is good. If it isn't still raining, your ambient humidity should drop. Good luck!!!

Lol you would think but they have catching up to do anyway and the humidity is not going down BC why would it cooperate? Lol perhaps it's going to rain again in the next couple of days or maybe it's BC of the cool weather that is hanging out with us right now.
