I can take 24 hours from pip to zip. Patience.
Can't see in the pic.

keep us postedToday is day 20 for the eggs under the serama hen, Hoping they start popping out tomorrow!
On the first page of this thread are a bunch of notes and links on topics. There is one on pip to zip, assisting, etcThank you! I was just worried because I didn't know if they needed a hole for oxygen at this point or not![]()
Did you remedy the situation?QUIET EVERYONE! QUIET!! I HAVE AN ANOUNCEMENT TO MAKE!
I'm hungry.
What kind of duck? Ducks will take considerably longer to hatch from external pip than chicks do.[/IMG]Has this duck internally pipped yet? How long until it hatches![]()
Quote: It looks like there was draw down, and possibly a beak showing on the edge. Even so, they hatch when they do, there isn't an exact time for things to happen. It seems to be progressing. You might here it and see egg move, eventually an external pip. Ducklings tend to take longer than chicks.
Thank you Pensmaster!Nice. Good hatch wishes.
My broody is actually sticking with it this time. Course it's only been 3 days.
Busy, but good! How about yours? How was everyone's day??
The thread was slow. So, yes!And this is news?
I see you have a young one too! Baby monitor! I bought a video monitor (I knew she wouldn't need it forever, and I got one with a frequency that went to the coop anyway...) and I take it out of her room during hatches. When she is all done with it, I can use it for seeing what the chickens or brooding chicks are doing in the coop.Haha! We are getting absolutely nothing done around the house........ Every few minutes one of us is getting up to see if anything is different!
Yes, but now I wish I hadn't! I could have had S'mores!Did you remedy the situation?
