Howdy, Linda!  :hugs    I haven't been on too much lately (too much going on), so I haven't seen much of you. How have you been doing?

I still use pads for the first week with every hatch, and have zero issues. Once I put shavings in, I also give chick grit just to be safe.

That's what I do too. I haven't been on much either. Moving and dealing with life... But I'm getting back on track

Ugh... moving is a four-letter word to me. Well, maybe a 5 or 6 letter word, but you know what I mean. Glad to hear that things are settling down, and glad to see you back!!!

Wet a piece of cotton jersey (T-shirt cloth) with apple cider vinegar and dab it gently on the sunburn. It will stop the pain and then you can use some aloe vera gel on it.

The vinegar doesn't make it sting?

A doctor told my dad to use noxema. He asked me to put it one. Never heard a man scream that loud before!!! He hosed himself off as fast as he could

My poor little lone chick is peeping loudly whenever I am not holding her. Almost two days old now. :(
