I'm not so sure about easy lol I've been googling their care and it's a little more complicated then I was hoping for - especially the part where it say to house them in groups of 3 or more because they're social...& then they also can become cannibalistic...they molt & are supposed to be separated from everyone and everything then...& then they need shells to move into, a specific diet...treats...fresh water AND separate salt water that's at a particular ph level...Yeahhhh.

They are all of the above and then some. We have a salt water variety in our salt water tank. They are great scavengers however when they get bigger they become too mean. Once one pulled another out of its shell I guess because it could.
It's at that stage we take them back and get smaller ones.
