That would be so fun to drive up there today and have brunch. But we teach at our church and then I have a meat deliver at 2 pm. Still have to get up there one day soon.

@MotorcycleChick Well, invest the heck in Duckling for a lasting relationship. Then don't give up till you get to your mid forties. You have time. You could also consider a foster kid if you no longer have the scary visitor.
I have considered it, but I work too much.

That is an issue I face often. He keeps me from fostering. I have a 9-y-o niece (Gabby, who lost her father) that still wants to visit in a few weeks. She can't because it isn't guaranteed safe.
