That's what I told her. She doesn't think that's the problem because she has done about 10 hatched without a cooler spot.
A cool space is absolutely essential. How else would they survive if they get too warm and can't escape the heat?
If she doesn't think it's a problem, then she surely has a thermometer in there.
A broody hen doesn't heat all the ambient air. She provides a single warm spot and the rest of the space the chicks use is cool with lots of ventilation. She rarely loses chicks.
