Once upon a time (I was falling in love. But now I'm only falling apart...)

Well the work and animal induced smiles continue.
Here is my llama cushing and being very patient while the kids played king of the mountian on him, a kid using the coop I am building as a jungle gym, and the front of the coop I am working on with the temporary exit door. I need the 8x12 run I am adding, but I am going to put it in use before it is done for the chicks I want and need out of the too small brooder pen.

It should be habitable if not done or painted Wednesday.
BEAUTIFUL Daxi!!

Now I am 50 or so pages behind. No hope of catching up... I hope everyone is having a good day. Congratulations on all the chicks, good luck for all the eggs being set, and sorry for all the eggs that didn't hatch!!

When I woke up this morning I had new chicks in 3 incubators. Gotro17's eggs were doing the best. 14 hatched, a bunch of pips and 2 zipping. My crowded bator had 6 new chicks. The brooder bator turned into a hatching/brooder bator had 2 new chicks.

I still have 50 or so eggs set to hatch later this week. I also have 2 dozen eggs from my backyard flock ready to incubate, plus 2 dozen more coming from TJChickens, so the madness continues.

Happy Hatching everyone!

Sounds like you've got enough to keep you busy for a while.

So cute!!!!

I'm guessing that CH doesn't have an established relationship with a vet, so he would probably have to pay for a for an exam and a fecal, which will probably cost more than $50. It is the right thing to do, but I don't think it's within the budget.

The prohibit is common for sheep and goats.

Good Morning, I was way behind and trying to catch up, but I got to this post and had to youtube the song.....

Congratulations on all the chicks!

Ivermectin for goats:

Meningeal worm doesn't show in fecal or blood work, unless something has changed in last couple years, only positively identified with necropsy. Some reason deer just pass it through, but it gets into the spinal canal of goats, sheep and llama.

Adorable!
