Amazingly, I can't even think of a suitable retort for that one

At least not one that wouldn't get my hand slapped.

I can't believe I finally stumped you.

Are you familiar with what is known here as the European Hornet? Colored similar to the Yellow Jacket, but about twice the size of a Bumble Bee or Carpenter Bee. They don't seem to be all that aggressive, but I sure wouldn't want to get stung by one, if that's even possible.
I'm not familiar. I saw a queen yellow jacket once. She was huge. I should have stepped on her but for the most part, they haven't been a problem. I did have an underground nest a few years back where the chick coops are now.
Wasps are a big problem here.
Open virtually anything and there's a wasp nest inside.
I keep cans of Spectracide wasp and hornet killer all over the property and one on each porch.
I bought the Raid brand once and immediately returned it. The wasps laughed at me for spraying them with it. The spectracide drops them out of the air.

I got my Missouri Veterans History Project video in the mail today. It is a copy of my interview about my service and life before and after that is going to the Library of Congress and the Missouri Historical Society.

It does when there's only two us to eat the eggs & I only hatch chicks for replacements in my small flock of 6 hens. We do have enough eggs, normally, for the wife to sell a couple dozen on a semi-regular basis; not enough to cover the feed.
You could sell chicks

Not legally, I don't think. By law, I'm supposed to have some sort of license to keep chickens at all (an AI thing), even though I own 3+ acres of ground zoned agricultural. I've not bothered to get licensed; I have a problem with someone who's not contributing to my mortgage payments telling me what I can or can't do on my own property as long as it's not adversely impacting anyone else. I just don't advertise the fact that I keep chickens, or attract attention to it.

Mine are Chinese and when I open the bator door they all run to it to me.

Are they the goose equivalent to muscovy duck?

That doesn't make any sense.... It sounds ridiculous.

I think most of them are I have only had mine since January and we had weird weather so it was mostly warm.
I'll have to think about that, it gets VERY cold here
