Amazingly, I can't even think of a suitable retort for that oneAt least not one that wouldn't get my hand slapped.![]()

I can't believe I finally stumped you.
I'm not familiar. I saw a queen yellow jacket once. She was huge. I should have stepped on her but for the most part, they haven't been a problem. I did have an underground nest a few years back where the chick coops are now.Are you familiar with what is known here as the European Hornet? Colored similar to the Yellow Jacket, but about twice the size of a Bumble Bee or Carpenter Bee. They don't seem to be all that aggressive, but I sure wouldn't want to get stung by one, if that's even possible.
Wasps are a big problem here.
Open virtually anything and there's a wasp nest inside.
I keep cans of Spectracide wasp and hornet killer all over the property and one on each porch.
I bought the Raid brand once and immediately returned it. The wasps laughed at me for spraying them with it. The spectracide drops them out of the air.
