do you have rocks/marbles in your water trays? it helps to stabilize temps

we've had so much going on with the end of school coming up here - I'm wayyyyy behind! Even now I'm just grabbing some quick coffee and then little man and I have to get to my oldest's school for his field day. We've literally had something every day whether it's field days, recitals, field trips, etc and this next week is the LAST week...so we've got awards ceremonies Mon & Tues...my youngest daughter's field day Wed and early release for last day of school on Thurs for all kiddos!!

How is everyone? Have I missed any new happenings?? Hope y'all are well!!

Chaos, I don't think billy was referring to a conga line!
MC, cute pics, duckling gets cuter every time I see her!

I have been busy with everything lately and haven't been on much.
Decided that work could manage without me for a day and decided to take an extended weekend. Wouldn't you know it though, woke up to 32 degrees and snow flurries!

Oh well, what's one more day of working out of my garage with the wood stove on, stereo blaring and fresh coffee all day? Maybe I will finally get a chance to finish the cabinet bator I have been building since January

It looked ok...was moving really well...and its beak was close to the shell....I have 5 duck eggs and 5 chicken eggs and only one chick pipped after the spike....it is the one I assisted.
