Hi all, good night to everyone. I've had a rough day. My indoor only cat got out last night. On the few occasions he had gotten out before, he was home withing 20 - 30 minutes. No return last night. I got up at midnight, 1 am, 2.am, 3.am 4,am and 5 am wandering my neighborhood with a flashlight. Never found him. Put up flyers today and while I was putting up the flyers a guy called. He found what was left of my cat when he was walking his dog. He was really nice and showed me where the body was. All that's left is a tail, 3 legs and the spine. But I can still tell it was him. Stupid coyotes. RIP Lefty..

I'm so sorry. The fear of any indoor cat getting out. They have no clue. There are no comforting words just the hug of a fellow pet owner how has lost too.

I am so sorry. He was a beautiful cat.

Yep, it does. Thanks everyone. He popped some blood vessels which is why it's so big and the blood pooled like that. Really p---ed me off, I gotta tell you.

It came out of nowhere - she was on a lead, and I was walking by with the mail, and was doing nothing to trigger anything, and she had never done anything like that before. She suddenly jumped sideways at me. It took both of us completely by surprise - I'm sure something small set her off, but regardless, she needs to learn not to do that EVER. I felt a little bad for the boyfriend only because it really was out of nowhere. But only a little bad... He's got work to do.
