One of my favorite local breeders had a sale on ther hatching eggs so I came home with
14 Bresse eggs
10 Black Marans
3 Red/Yellow Golden pheasants and
6 Pea eggs

Nine of nine Silkie eggs under my other broody LF are fertile.yay day five

My liddle duckburds of sweetness and cute and size-large webbies!!

I feel an attack coming on....

So what are pheasants raised for, how are they hatched and how long do they take....there are some beautiful ones out there!

Sounds like you will!! you know I still think younger flock eggs always hatch better and cleaner, be it the smaller egg or what, but they always give the best hatches by far than the old big eggs.

At what age do they work the best in your experience. Wanting to know for my pullets

I hatched 16 last week and 3 have hatched today. Also have 2 broody geese 1 sitting on 4 eggs and the other on 6 and more eggs to put in the bator tonight.

All of theirs that I have seen have been solid white I have 3 of theirs now and they are solid white as well. The ones that I am about to put in the bator there is a chance for blue or splash cause she has one blue hen.

Yes they would. Blue and splash are one of my favorite color birds so it would be slot better than the ugly Cornish X.
