I have a dozen eggs in the cooker, due 5/30. They're BCM (him) x RSL. Hopefully, I'll get a couple decent cockerels.

They say don't breed a mean rooster. You just pass on the genes.

I ain't putting up with his crap any longer.
He actually came out of the coop after me just now while I was nudging the last 2 hens up the ramp so I could close up for the night. He flew at me, feet first, & I knocked him out of the air. I got a couple scratches on the chest out of the deal; nothing serious.
I'm just liable to introduce him to Mr. Winchester tomorrow. This S.O.B. is nastier than the one he replaced.
