Anyone want a BCM rooster?
Come get him, before I put a bullet in his head!
I ain't putting up with his crap any longer.
He actually came out of the coop after me just now while I was nudging the last 2 hens up the ramp so I could close up for the night. He flew at me, feet first, & I knocked him out of the air. I got a couple scratches on the chest out of the deal; nothing serious.
I'm just liable to introduce him to Mr. Winchester tomorrow. This S.O.B. is nastier than the one he replaced.

That's a bummer. He was so nice before! :(

On the positive side...i went fishing tonight.... While we were targeting eagle-eyed we caught a bunch of Pike and Crappie.
Whites you would have Been thrilled... We were fishing on a local lake just down the road from my house..... And even though none of the crappies were Giants they were all respectable and I let them all go for another day.

Well I am going to have to be off to bed. Morning comes quick a bit to quick for my liking but what we like don't happen does it? Well anyways goodnight.

Goodnight to no one as there is no one here except Benny and I am pretty sure it isn't time for goodnight over there so I will just say good bye to Benny as I don't know what part of the day you are in.

GOOD NIGHT....:frow

This is mine. 4" PVC pipe, as long as practical to fill from the top, 'Y' fitting on the bottom, 2" extension in the feed chute to keep birds from raking feed out on the ground, plug on the bottom, rubber cap on the top to keep weather out.
Oh I've been wanting to do this so bad! Thought too it might work for the meat birds in the porta cage thing so when we drag it its attatched. They use the little nipple cups and that's easy to move without spilling. This year I don't know where we will put it but I'm thinking move around and put a few attatched feeders on it? Cool in general too though, no more knocked over feeders or pooped on food and I could run it through and fill from outside!!! Need

one dom rock cross and 11 beo ss crosses, all black and white/yellow. Little peepers. Ten eggs trying their best still. Had to pull these guys and they're doing well in their brood box. They're little legs are black and pink ish spotted like their faces and beaks... I can't wait to see a few grown out! A couple still need to fluff up more but I pulled them fast and didn't have time to pick and choose which ones. One is still in the hatcher with the 3 pippers who hopefully have hatched by now!! I'm exhausted but seriously watching an old fave movie and looking forward to tomorrow morning when hubs is home and can put no crow collars on anyone who's crowing... I'm so touchy this week... I think doc might have started crowing which is fine but it only encourages the others. What are all your favorite barnyard mixes?

I'm sorry Seth! You have gotten so much rain! Is this storm supposed to last? The good thing about broody hens is that the electricity going out doesn't kill the eggs the way it does to an incubator!!

I hope that things dry out soon! Stay safe!!!
