Never used one with a seat, but the edges of the holes were worn so smooth it didn't matter. I used to chuckle at my grandparents; they had electric lights,a telephone, a TV, even an electric pump on the well, but never had indoor facilities.

This house didn't until the sixties.

Earlier you said they were strange men, Which one is it? Hot guys or strange men?

IDK. What are you? I think you're both... OMG! I just... Ha ha! Don't call!
maybe both??

Yeah

How you do dat?
Ur's original post said "Nate", yet when you quoted it, it came out "Kate"

I quoted him before he changed it. So mine shows the unedited version because it was used before it was edited.

Hi Everyone. This is my 2nd set and hopefully first successful hatch! We are brand new to chickens and we have 7 in a brinsea incubator. I have a question about egg weight. I posted it in the main board but didn't get any responses. I have some eggs that are loosing weight right on track and a couple that are major slackers. Should I count these out? My last hatch didn't go well due to humidity and temperature issues so I really want to get it right this time. Below is my chart.

Since my birds have gotten used to it, it's not as waste-free as it was at first, but still ain't too bad. I guess it took them a while to figure out how to sling feed out of it. Maybe putting a longer extension in the 'Y' would help, but then they might not be able to reach the feed.

If I ever build another one, I'd like to install a plexiglass window near the top of the 'Y' so I can tell when the feed supply is getting low.
Oh yea that's brilliant! Well I'm not as worried about waste as simplicity and ease of filling... I think it's really clever!
