As Chaos mentioned. calibration often times is more to determine accuracy and accommodate for high/low readings. if your thermo/hygro is not adjustable at least you will have a basis of where it reads and can adjust accordingly.

I'd be scared to mess with it at this point. I would wait it out for this hatch, see how it goes, and calibrate before the next set.

How you are sure that the reading are correct? You should always be doubtful! And you should always double check!
