Good Morning Everyone!

Morning Mike

Ah, I see. Yeah, I get tired of things sometimes as well. Sometimes I slice some good cheese and toast bread, and put the cheese between the warm pieces of toast (no mayo or spread), and lightly wrap in a paper towel and let it sit in the passenger seat (if I'm driving) or in the desk until I'm ready to eat breakfast. Just trying to think of options. (Sounds like you've been through the options as well).

Yeah, no way I could put up with anyone else at this point in life either.

Sorry you had a rough day - here's hoping you have a better one today. :hugs

Yay!!!! Go broody! :cd  Go chickies!!!! :jumpy

I'm pretty sure I wasn't one of the ones who was helpful, but congratulations!!! :clap

Yikes - sorry for the long semi-preachy explanation when you already raise meat chickens.   It's just that some people want to hatch chicks but say that they think it's mean to kill chickens for food and say they get their meat "from the grocery store".

But now that you mention it, while I've raised some birds (of a given dual purpose breed) with the clear foreknowledge that I would cull the boys for meat, it WAS later that I realized this applied to extra little non-meat type cockerels I hatched, too. I had to learn different processing method(s), and think of different ways to cook them - fortunately, there's lots of good info on BYC.

Yikes!! add scorpions to the list of things I don't like. I have a extreme phobia of going under my house due to snakes and spiders. Takes me 30+ minutes to work up the courage to go under and do something that takes 5 minutes or less. Not a fan of scorpions for sure.

Actually it's more the spider webs than the actual spider. Snakes in general dead, alive, it don't matter.

I had a rough day yesterday because I signed up for a big series of continuing education courses for work this week without being clear on the length of the sessions, so now that I'm committed, I find I have MUCH less time to do my work this week than I thought I would, pushing a lot of it into the evening. I'm beat, and it's only Tuesday. I just need to survive this week. The babies will just have to wait for their new paddock/pen.

Right after waking up this morning, I stood at the bathroom sink bleary eyed, reached for my toothbrush, and then I looked down to find a scorpion in my sink. Yeah, I guess it's going to be that kind of day. (Sorry, no pics - I was too focused on killing it without getting stung).

Good luck with your week, sounds rather busy. A scorpion is not exactly what I would want to see first thing in the morning.

More pics I know I know but it is my first time. Remember your first hatch?

Oh, I do.... I have 200+ pics of my first hatch!

I'm okay with spider webs and (non poisonous) snakes, but NEVER make me touch a spider. *Shiver*
