INCUBATING w/FRIENDS! w/Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs No problem!

Just dropping in to give a quick update. 3 ducklings hatched in the last 2 weeks. It's been a while since I had ducklings, and they are very fun.
Also hatched the first lavender silkied Ameraucanas 3 weeks ago and I'm up to 9 of them total. These have been a lot of trouble to get this far so these 9 are very special.

Hi everyone. I had posted a couple of days ago about my weights not being on track. Its now the night of day 16 and my eggs are rocking. I have no idea the breed. Three are pink, one green and three brown. I turned off the turner but they are still on the egg turner. Should I take them off and prepare for an early lockdown? Im worried about the aircells still. Temp is holding at 99.5 and humidity is in the 30s. There is zero water in the bator and has been like that for 4 days now.

Yes, prepare to lockdown early. Can you candle and see the air cells at all?

Fan incubator or still air?
I have always had early hatches with a fan incubator for some reason, even though temps are 99.5 - 100f steady.
I would take them out and lock down.
You didn't say if weights were high or low, but I would bump the humidity if you lock down, at least to 50 or so.

Just my two cents...

Thanks! It is a fan, brinsea mini advanced. My weight loss is low. Aircells look small in some. I will get them ready tonight and lockdown tomorrow.

Yes, quickly candled a few and they got bigger slightly. My dark brown egg hasnt changed much from day 7. I will post pics in an hour. Internet went down so I am using my phone and 4g.

Just came in, getting dark. Got some lumber work done, plenty more still to do. All chickens put up for the night, but the EHAL boys are disoriented by their new tractor coop (despite similar set up), and weren't going to roost. When it gets darker and I can pick each one up without an unholy chase, I'll put them on the roost by hand. Hope I don't have to for too many nights... But I gotta make sure they learn that.

Congrats on all hatches, and go chickies for those in progress and locking down. I'll be quietly following along while enjoying my adult beverage...
