Thanks. I was asking everyone yesterday what to do because they were rocking. They have been rocking since the night of day 16. I was just wondering if I should wait to hear peeping before i up the humidity. Right now they are running dry and have been for about a week (munis 3 hours two nights ago when i tbought i was goung to lockdown early and changed my mind).

yes it actually does help....the palm sander can do wonders.....

that looks like a pretty course grit their Benny, I would like to keep some soles of the feet thanks!

Thats because its an angle grinder, not a sander.

Quote: trouble with backing down humidity too late in hatch is they get thick yellow goop as the albumen dries too fast too late in the process. I personally would candle often, but I am home all the time and then when I see draw down on the majority and the first internals I would lock them down.

Quote: DOH I know that, I actually have used my palm sander thats what I meant.

for the record, I at one time in my life busted my butt, or more like my upper body working at a boat body works. NOT a fun job for a woman at all.

My attempt at getting the heat up in the brooder; hasn't helped much. Still can't get it out of the mid-80's, according to the thermometer I never thought to calibrate. :he Not the best picture I've ever taken. Still in the 'bator, prior to the latest two to hatch. Actually have a picture of all 5 so far, but it's disappeared somewhere. This is the one that I couldn't find. The single black & 5 yellows; 1 w/the black spot mid-back & another w/several smaller black spots further forward, which may be discernible if blown up.
Nice brooder Beats my ghetto Rubbermaid tub
