To much carb. Not inofgh vitamins and minerals!
Add some almonds and nuts and some dry cranberries and you are good!

Very good. My go to snack is almonds all day. Also we use almond flour to bake with. And we make own almond milk. Need to find supply of almonds that haven't had chemicals used to pasteurize them. Is this too much almond. Dried fruits are also snack.

Okay! I have scrubbed it and scrubbed it until they styrofoam started coming off, and it is still horrid... I'll go get a pic that shows just how icky it truly is. (a lid pic, the bottom is cleaner! I juct can't soak the lid)

The sun is finally out, so I'll sit it in the sun for a bit....

Don't scrub the Styrofoam off.
Don't get the lid wet, that will kill the controller.
However, if that happens, you can replace it with one that actually works.

I got 5, all looking good. 7 haven't hatched; don't expect them to now...should've hatched 3 days ago.

Mine were due 3 days and 15 hours ago but most hatched Monday and a couple Tuesday. Some of the eggs were old so I'm not mad other than I'm pretty sure I would have had more had there not been wide temp swings. I have a bunch more old eggs in there now and a few actually are developing.

dang I am bleach queen :frow :goodpost: Welcome Jennifer! :frow you cant have java? oh man that sucks! only a day apart, candle both sets day 18 of the first and see what you got going on in both sets, if they are starting to draw down big time or you have internals you need to lock down, if not you can candle every six to eight hours a few and see whats going on and then lock down when you see it happening. Glad to have you with us! dawwwwww
I reckon I should claim the title of bleach king. I use it on practically everything. Not sure that's a good idea now. Usually have a few bottles pre-diluted to varying degrees of flavor depending on the scenario.
Right or wrong that's verbatim what I was going to say after I made sure someone hadn't already addressed it.
Maybe I am learning something.
I had three trays of eggs fall into the bator today, some are probably too old, procrastinated setting, have four dozen serama to set later tonight too.
Hi, I'm coming over from the May Hatch-a-long. I have 7 eggs in my incubator (after having tossed 2 - 1 blood ring and 1 infertile); due to hatch on June 11.
Welcome aboard.

Technically you can clean the top but you will have to disassemble. Not usually required but it sounds as though its pretty gunky. Depending on the series or specific model all of the individual components are replaceable/removable. Not going to say its easy but doable without breaking it. I haven't been able to find a break down of the individual model LG9200's but I know there are at least 3 different variations I have encountered.

The light spot is where the label was.... I have scrubbed the lid like crazy.... It used to be worse! The bottom is a bit better.

good point on killing the controller and replacing it for that matter.

I'm not, I stopped as soon as I saw it flaking. I just used damp papertowel on the outside.

Interesting, thanks!

My lid is more dusty than dirty. Although when it gets super humid in there, with lots of chicks hatching, it can can get sticky. I use a dry paper towel to wipe out the lid first. For any stubborn areas, I use a damp clean (sanitized) sponge to wipe it down. The glass panels at the top, pop out, so I run those through the dishwasher. Anything along the sides of the lid that is still dirty, I rub with some of the egg cleaner that I have, then rinse thoroughly (and carefully).. I also make sure I wash it AS SOON AS THE last egg is hatched, or discarded.

Good luck!!!
