So, I'm irritated, because I started to get ready to go to the farmers market, and then I realized that my car is still at the dealer and won't be ready until later today. So, no car, no farmers market.

I think I'll go wade through the overgrown garden to look for volunteer greens or veggies to harvest. Alas, I'll need a weed wacker to get in there, and I don't know what sort of choice I'll have. But I bet there's some french sorrel in there. Gotta find a spot to plant some Okinawa sweet potato slips I got the other day anyway.

If you have the wherewithall, the Brinsea's are hard to beat.
Otherwise, for a styrofoam incubator, I'd lean toward a Hova-bator circulated air model.
You can likely find used units of either design on CL or Ebay

That is a messy pile of pigs!!! Awesome!!! I want a pet pig, not a slaughter pig though.....a fellow chicken crazy lady I know has a very, very large pig that loves to lean up against you, asking you to pet him, and will roll over on his back so that we rub his belly.



the property I live at now was abandoned for MANY years before being rehabed and sold to me. One of the squatters living here had a pig in the chicken coop/rabbit hutch that was in the back yard. But until we start to get some steady rain, no additional animals for me.
