Do you sell the chicks. I have had no luck selling any chicks. Maybe if I had a purebred I would get more inquiries.

I have had pretty good luck selling the silkies. The other chicks, I have to say my mother sold them....she put chicks for sale signs up at the local feed stores. When they call, she gives me their numbers. Then they tell me what they want and I meet them someplace. I've sold about 50 chicks. I still have over 100 to sell.

But, I can't seem to stop hatching.....lol

What brand of incubators do you have? Which one do you like the best?

I have an Incuview, an LG, and 2 Brinseas. I LOVE the Brinseas for days 1 - 18, I don't like hatching in them, only because they are so hard to clean the top. But they have a humidity pump that makes them perfect for hatching! So, that's why I bought the 2nd one.

My LG was my first incubator. I still use it when I don't have room in the Brinsea. I'll start them in the LG, then move them when I make room in the other one. The Incuview is great for hatching. I don't like the turner in that one - you lay them on the sides and it rolls them. So, I have never used it for days 1 - 18,

I have heard better things about the Hovorbator over the LG.

But for me, the Brinseas were worth the extra money.
