If my stomach had not been churning before, it is now!
The aroma of fresh fertilizer is permeating the air outside thanks to the moist stuff I just turned up in the run.
You guys have no idea how long I have been wanting to get a tiller in there! I can't tell you how happy I am to finally know how to use the Mantis!
There is a cord that is strung between the garage and the green shed, then goes from there to the coops. It has been butchered courtesy of my landscaper. He never said a word. Might have not noticed, but now I have no power to the coop. Good thing there was nothing plugged in.
The babies were all out in the yard yesterday (and in the neighbor's trash! Glass and cans everywhere!) and today the poults are in the lilac bush with everyone else. Being the fliers, they are apparently the bravest. The ducks seem to be the surrogate parents for the SPR chicks. I swear I have seen the chicks under the ducklings a few times.
