I didn't correct you. I was just pointing out that regular aluminum storm windows are no longer in use. The industry wen't to vinyl-clad aluminum, then to all vinyl.
My BIL installs a lot of windows, and I've helped him on a lot of jobs,as well as a few vinyl siding jobs. I wouldn't charge you anything, but since it's extra income for him, he'd have to charge you, and because of the distance it wouldn't be cheap. You'd be ahead of the game financially to get someone local, but if you can't find anyone I'll run it by the BIL & see if he's interested...I'd be surprised if he was.

I was teasing you about the way you said aluminum storm doors and windows. I was implying that you said you installed aluminum windows.
I won't be getting new windows from MD. Your B-I-L can relax.

I have chain link fencing for my Silkie run. Since I got rid of my big bad roo, I've introduced ALL the 2 month and older silkies into the group. They were squeezing out through the chain link, so I used the deer netting to cover the chain link. I have also used it as a temporary pen for babies on their day trips outside. I am not sure how it would do as an only form of fencing LONG term.

I've done that with the chain link to keep the wild birds out. It does work for tiny chicks too.

It is painful to see a good friend trying to kill themselves. She says it hurts to eat. I've tried to get her to see a gastroenterologist for months to no avail.
Perhaps a couple weeks in the hospital may help. She's been there before and the remedy doesn't stick.
