Help!

I candled my remaining eggs and see definite movement in my remaining lavender Orpington egg. It has a very deep saddle air cell and I honestly can't tell if it's internally pipped. I couldn't hear anything inside.

How do you know when to assist with the saddle air cell? I read the articles about assisting but feel really unsure at this point because of the saddle air cell. And since the other one with this bad of an air cell drowned when it pipped I'm worried about this one.

Help! Advice?!

Day 23.

I don't think you ever "know". You just go ahead when it feels right.
Start slow, and see how it goes. Candling to see where the beak is will help.

MC, Abi is sleeping on my lap right now. She is such a sweet chick!

I could have but you wouldn't have believed it anyways. It probably was.
You could have at least tried. I hope it was

Hey Banti :frow
Did I do something wrong again???
That's fine and thank you. It's good to be back.

How'd your speech go? Did you try the ketchup trick? :p

It went very well. There wasn't any on hand.

Day 23.

@Sally Sunshine

Oh my goodness. WHY does it have to be this hatch, the breeds I especially wanted???

I just checked on the chicks. The two older guineas had sat on the MHP and pushed it down. Zeta, the lavender keet, and Enya were under it. Zeta is dead, Enya was near the edge so I think she's okay, and the keet is on my lap after getting rinsed to cool her off quickly... I cannot belive how much is happening to these babies!
