Yeah- we read about dry hatching the first 18, but, we are basically a desert now here in Southern Cal and my humidity gets down to single digits at times... Over of the BCM thread people are advising 40%+!

My last two hatches of BCMs had a 100% hatch rate. I didn't let the humidity get above 30%, tried to keep it between 20-25% as much as possible. Boosted to 55% at lockdown and everything went smooth. They were also eggs from my birds, not shipped, so that may have been a factor as well.

I wish I could watch that stuff, stupid internet with the leaves we are down to 31 percent sat signal and if its windy its iffy and if its raining forget it!!!

Hi there! Couple of things I guess... Have a bunch of pea eggs on day 22 or day 23, six shipped pea eggs on day 11, and a whole bunch more on day two.

Also think about ways to improve my emergency supportive care thread and the tube feeding thread.

You have no idea how many times I have washed eggs in old coffee. Sometimes I use grounds to scrub. Other times, it is just coffee.
