Amazing what people learn over their life.@ChickenCanoe
My father-in-law was a computer programmer back during the monster computer days. I never realized how much he was into it until recently. We were sucking down some beers and he told me ALL a out it, remembered every model name of every computer or hard drive or whatever he ever worked on, beyond me, ancient technology. He worked for Mitsubishi, they battled IBM here back and forth who would come out with the biggest and fastest every year. They sent him to school every year. He had more information about computers than I'd ever imagined.
It's funny cause I've only known him to be a baker and a dirt farmer, he's 76 yrs old now and has trouble figuring out the remote for their TV Lol! Doesn't own a cellphone or a computer.
I could swap out a robot control cabinet in under an hour including all the cabling and relanding hundreds of wires, then download paramaters and programs of the robot, power up and start building cars again.
Yet, I struggle to use my smart phone.
Watches were a problem too - when I wore one.
Sounds fun but scary.I went for a quick ride with a friend today.... We went on a slightly newer trail this time. Right after we turned around to come back, we heard buzzing..... A few seconds later, she started hurrying up the hill as fast as it was safe to go. She turned around and yelled back that there were yellow jackets bombing her & her horse. We got our horses into a fast trot, and shooed the bees away whenever they got too close. Once we got past the dicey parts of the trail, we galloped where we could and trotted where we couldn't. (Downhill) The yellow jackets chased us all the way back, which was more than 1/2 hr away!![]()
Thankfully, the horses didn't get stung, or we would have had a bigger problem on our hands, in the form of a bucking half ton animal.
Moral of the story: Do Not mess with yellow jackets!
Beer is good for you. All things in moderation.I read drinking two beers a day does the same for your LDL HDL cholesterol levels as running a mile. I figure a twelve packs has to be the same as twelve miles, I'm healthy as a horse !!
Yeah right...LIAR![]()
and GETTING every DIME out of that distressed button atop the pair of dungerees you spent your hard earned cash on. LMBO people who run 1to 2miles a day don't need a belt to keep the top of their jeans from folding into half its width because their beer guts hanging over!
I'm poking fun, but NO a case of beer IS NOT like running a mile, sheesh some poor kid reads that&thinks oh I'll slim down&quit getting picked on by bullies by drinking my weight away.(don't be fooled, beer drinking adds minimum 15pounds to anyone who drinks it daily) I have massaged hundreds of authletes male/female and regular or pro and I can tell with one swip of my hand down their back if they are a daily beer par-taker or truely disciplined. Nice try though.

I don't know if it is exactly dwarfism but I was raising 50 Freedom Rangers and definitely had a runt. Can chicks have dwarfism?
I have one that doesn't look like it's grown since it was hatched four weeks ago. It's runnin around just fine, but the rest are 2-3 times it's size. I'm starting to feel sorry for the little bugger.
It was a cockerel and perfectly healthy. He ended up being less than half the weight of his siblings.
Do you know how old she is?albino.under ground and they are in an outdoor pen.she is small so there is no way she could hop 3_8 eggs
The scutes on the plastron will have rings like those on a tree.
The plastron is the ventral side of the turtle and the scutes are the keratinous plates. They don't necessarily represent annual rings like a tree but times of feast and famine. It is harder to determine age on a turtle in Louisiana than one farther north because you won't have many periods of turtle famine. Around here, there may be wide and thin rings on the scutes which roughly account for years of growth.
How long is she from front to back of the carapace (topside)?
So you were observing her as she laid eggs is how you know there are only 2? Or did you dig them up?
Everyone has found their own niche for that wonder tape.I never used duct tape except to hold windows up when replacing window motors
Craigslist?I am good, except I can't seem to sell any chickens
Of course you do. But one runs out of space and there are too many males.me either course I want to keep them all.LOL

Yeah I got the same problem with ducks
Yup I got too many ducks too!!!!
I've never cleaned a duck. Are they ok just skinned? I understand they're tough to pluck.
Perhaps too many people hatching from pullet eggs.Good skill to have.
NN supposed to be quick good meat bird. But they are saying they are getting smaller due to breeding.
Hand turning obviously takes more time but my neighbor swears by it. Says she gets better hatch rare when she hand turns them
