The water spilled over and sloshed onto the eggs when I refilled the wells. Is this okay or should I dry up the puddle underneath them?

Are they sitting in it? Dry it then.

Okay. I spent the night having nightmares, then woke and spent a while convincing myself that I was okay, and what I was dreaming was not really real, just kinda real.
I took some "Abi has awesome hair" pictures and deleted them. I put on some clothes, started the coffee, and went outside. Downside of feeding in the yard is that I have to go go the flock as soon as I get up. They are hungry and thirsty!
It began to rain. I opened the door for the flock, and laughed at the babies complaining about their hunger. They went straight to food while the adults went straight to water (which they should still have a few gallons in the coop). I fed and watered and watched. The baby chicks perch on the side of the water bowls. Occasionally, they fall in when someone comes from behind, and scares them.
A duck was chasing some chickens, so I picked it (thinking boy) up. I am now cut up. My arm is bleeding on the edge of my laptop and all over my desk. My pinky has stopped bleeding for the most part.
My computer didn't want to start.
Bad morning? No. It has actually been as okay as it can be.

My friend with the hip surgery was dreaming while awake. Must have been good drugs.

I reached her on the phone to check on her progress and ask about her dog. and she said there were terrible things going on downstairs. I asked her to explain. She said it wouldn't be a good idea to talk about it because the phone wasn't secure. She then asked what was the best way to get from Washington D.C. to St. L. Plane, train or bus cause the secret service was after her. I told her she was already in St. L. and she said, "so I guess a cab would be best".

Her dog need a bath badly so I have an appointment at PetSmart to have the dog bathed, brushed and maybe trimmed.

Can I safely feed bread with a few mold spots to chickens? I never have; just curious

I pinch out all the moldy spots. Drop them in the compost pile and give the good parts to the chickens.

As can many molds and the wrong fungi.

Difference of opinion. I stay away from fungi for chickens.

I am still waiting for Chaos to tell me it is better than drinking banana bread, and eating coffee.

I am not eating for nourishment. It just sounded good.

When I drank coffee, I liked it strong enough to eat.
I always made coffee for my midnight shift students. One guy asked if he could have some more of my 'concentrate'. He'd fill his cup 80% with water and top it off with some of my coffee and then microwave it.

I am dancing around with a pineapple and a bunch of grapes on my head!

OK, I quit on the read back. I have tried to catch up two nights now and fell asleep in my chair. It just uses up all the time I have. Then I don't get to say hi. Good Morning everyone!

I should go to the chef thread, but I am going to ask here now. My birds have rested that I processed Saturday.
I have never had a home grown bird. How would you Gus prepare the first one? The others went in the freezer.

You like it grilled or you prefer stew or soup?

Banti what is under your eggs, can you show a pic down into it right now? can the fan get air to the water wells, or did you put too much under the eggs and it cant get down there?

Prepare it just like you would any other chicken. The last one my wife cooked she opened the bird up so it would lay flat, did a light marinade and then grilled it whole. Was delicious.

Yes, they are. I have papertowel under them which is why it is a puddle.

No condensation, I closed all the vents but the lid dont close the whole way.
