Many people do feed medicated feed, but it does not prevent all outbreaks of coccidiosis, and it does *not* treat coccidiosis. Does that make sense?

Yes last year we put some chicks out that hadn't been on medicated feed- a number of them died and then it got around to some of the younger birds that had been on medicated feed and I lost a handful of them as well even giving corid... Which saved a large number of birds last year. I've also heard people recommend sulfet. There's a thread on here if someone can find it with the proper dosing for corid (for calves) for chickens, it's very clear and helpful, perhaps someone could link it?

That's mostly what I have to offer in terms of help, my vet tests their poop for $15-~$20 I think. When they have this or anything really they hang their head low and tail down and lay or stand and stop frolicking. Usually it's one dies before they're treated in my experience. I give them ASAP probiotics, electrolytes/vitamins and they're on medicated feed. If they don't improve in a short but I treat with corid based on my above comment about dosage. Corid is expensive yes but maybe someone can find it cheaper or something ... You can keep it around though... Hopefully most of them make it for you.

The powder dose is 1.5 teaspoons per gallon for 5 days, then 1/3 teaspoon per gallon for 7-14 days.
The liquid dose is 2 teaspoons per gallon for 5 days, then 1/2 teaspoon per gallon for 7-14 days.

You got a friend.....
James Taylor

I may have to cash in my pennies to bail you out though
I stayed out of trouble last night, barely.
Cooler heads prevailed.

I spent my day rebuilding the differential on my old pick up.
Looks like you have a nice facility to do so.
I have to work with ramps and jack stands.

I wonder where they were last night. Certainly not on the field.
Cards lost their 4th straight.
Leading 3-0 going into the 8th. Lost 4-3. Prior to that, they had the best run differential after the 7th inning in all of baseball.

All of them had there tails stuck up

Do you mean pasted vent or tails stuck up in the air?

Describe your brooder setup.

Ok I got medicated feed

Which is got chlorid in it

And? What do you expect to it to do? If they have coccidiosis it's not gonna help. @runt325
I'm having a hard time figuring out if you have seen the posts or not, 'cause I think several of us said that medicated feed is not a treatment. To treat coccidiosis, you need liquid or powdered amprolium, or a sulfa drug. Do you understand that? If not, maybe some else can explain it for me.

Another thing... you've shown of a video that's several days old, and a couple of chick pictures, and one of the chicks looks sick, but you have not shown us what that chicks poop looks like. Does that make sense?
