How do you turn them then? Won't they slip out the bottom?

Sorry. I'm half asleep and not thinking correctly.

Not sure how you would hand turn them vertically in egg cartons as I've never done it before. I've only ever hatched in them. They don't slip out the bottom because the holder is tapered. Only cut off enough to open the bottom up to allow air flow.

Hey if they are hens that means more eggs for u to eat

I am already bursting at the seams with eggs. I get 8 eggs + per day, and have 6 POL pullets. I can't eat that many!

I give a lot to friends & family.

Tilt them. Actually, you tilt the whole carton.
