I have a broody, that I am worried I should break with the temperatures we have been talking about, but no eggs. I don't have an incubator yet :oops:

I have her outside but far from the others and she drank nearly a full cup of the antibiotic water. I'm keeping her outside during the day and it can get a bit hot so this behavior should keep up.

chick got stuck in the nesting box this morning. when found she isnt doing well. What can I do besides gives drops of electrolytes by mouth to rehydrate her.?
you are doing what you can, I agree keep her warm

LOL I have no clue what docs write most times, but mine is always on the bill too, when they charge me!

Hi!! LOL someone was getting EE eggs tomorrow! Sorry! I like the idea someone gave of freezing water bottles, and putting them under the hens, and changing them out when they get warm. I'm going to try that for one of my hens.

I would rather go natural, than use chemicals. I've heard good and BAD about the Diatomaceous earth. So, not sure about that, but I will try the Wormwood ash and the sachets.

I hope you are able to break your broody!
