It is adorable! Right now it is tumbling around the brooder and it hops over whenever I put my hand in! It will be an only child until the next one hatches so I hope it doesn't get too stressed out.

Awww cute! I put a stuffed animal and a little box with my only chick and she liked that. (The box was for her to have a dark spot to sit in.)

The chick that I hatched in April was an only child for a week until I got her a friend from the FFA barn. That chick turned out to be a rooster so I rehomed him last weekend. Before, she would not eat unless I was with her.

Today is day 20. This one was a day early. I am hatching them as a science project for a girl that I babysit. She wasn't too excited about watching the eggs in the turner but she loved to watch me candle them.

A guy in my equine science class didn't have an incubator so he was hatching eggs the same week as me. He could only take 3 chicks home with him so he gave me one for free as a buddy.
