I did have a lot of help from Fisherlady. It took three hours from start to finish. Closer to two or two and a half without the time spent trying to catch the two escapess and look for others in the coop that may have eluded me last night.

You can give her Safeguard (fenbedazole), but you will need to weigh her or guess her weight. Dose is 0.04 - 0.05 ml per 100 grams.

So I have another idea... I'm gonna guess that you can't take the turtle to a vet, so I think you should find an exotic vet near you and surrender the turtle to them.

I have GOT to get some!!!

When my 1st horse was hit in southern IL, one of the responding State Troopers shot him 4 times between the eyes (hardest place on a horse's head) before he got the job done. Could have done it with a single shot over an eye or right behind an ear (no bone in either place).
