Maybe they would need rinsed out every now and then. I know the water bowl needs it because the ducks drop food in there all the time.I would think so. I now wonder how they keep from getting clogged up easily though.
Yes, but Amazon is responsible.
How else would one keep the bottom collector bowl cleaned out?I was under the impression they did not.![]()
What hatchery? This is from a hatchery.

Thats a good point about them freezing.I thought about trying those but haven't bought any yet. My two main concerns were that they would get dirty (like the water dish they had now) because my chickens get shavings in EVERYTHING, and that they would freeze in the winter since they hold water outside of the bucket (so I would imagine the tank heater wouldn't keep them from freezing).

It was Worldwideshop.
These are WAY bigger than the horizontal ones. I'll try to take a scale photo when I get home. They have a weird connection that don't look anything like the horizontal ones.

My nipple waterers didn't freeze at all.Stromberg is the supplier for these. I would expect that they would freeze in the winter since the nipple waterers do.
I don't think that shavings can get into them. They should be a bit higher than that.
