Last night while I was closing up the chickens I realized I REALLY need a rooster named John......

I was going around the coop saying goodnight to the chooks, and it hit me that a "John boy" would be hilariously appropriate to add onto the end of ".....Goodnight Emma, goodnight Sunshine, goodnight pingu, goodnight lucky, goodnight mystery, goodnight rain, goodnight muffin, goodnight smudge, goodnight blackies, goodnight brownies, scardey birds (Jace's chicks); goodnight Abi, goodnight Enya, goodnight guineas, goodnight Jace, goodnight Reynbow, Goodnight HennyPenny (you broody stinker!); goodnight Gem, goodnight duckburds!

You sure you didn't miss a couple?

I didn't add in Pebbles or Rocky, as I was just doing all the ones I could remember. They, being silkies, just wander around the edge of the run thinking silkie thoughts and never say hi, so they aren't noticable..... Yeah, silkies are adorable, but a few crayons short of a whole box.. :lau

Other than those two, I listed them all, I think.

I know some people like that!

Just my own mutts, Phil...BCM x RSL....no future in trying well-bred eggs 'til I get this whole artificial incubation thing down better than I have.

Sweet.....after this hatch...I'm moving on to call ducks.....I'm not trying to make anything just enjoying the experience.....just bought a new cradle for my brinsea echo 20.....so we can take off for a few days during incubation and not have to hand turn the eggs.
