Congrats and good luck with the next batch! Thanks to everybody who helped me out the other night with my hatch-2 spunky serama chicks both doing great go far-hatched 1 day apart. Today is day 20 for my other 2 so will see in the next couple days if anything else hatches-I have some shipped silkie eggs in there too. The ones that hatched were from my 2 seramas-proud parents Barry and Patty!

the first I lost I was trying to follow the directions and wait until absolutely necessary. I just waited to long. When I opened the shell it was perfectly formed. No yoke and the veins had receded. It just became weak. That one really got to me because I had heard it chirping only a few hours before. The last one I assisted had all sorts of stuff going on. I don't regret assisting it. I think it would have died if I left it alone. It had been internally pipped for over 24 hours by the time I helped and it was fading away from exhaustion. It came out a little deformed looking but it's shaping out better now so we will see.
Hopefully the sickly one gets better.
