Hello, This is my first post and I can't figure out where I should post. I see y'all are on now, I think?
I have 3 incubated pea chicks that are just over 3 days old. 1 is really struggle since yesterday but still alive and standing. Very lethargic and not eating or drinking that I can see. I have been helping her drink but. that is about all i have succeeded in doing.
1 of the other chicks is very aggressive towards this struggling chick. I am thinking of separating her until she is stronger but she does get upset when I do. So, there is still fight in her.
I really need help. Not sure what chat tomgo to or even how this all works?
Welcome to BYC!

Peachicks can be a little harder to raise than chicken chicks because often they need to be taught to eat and drink. Lots of knowledgeable people in this thread, but you should probably also post in the peafowl forum:

If you want, you can call me and I'll answer any question one the phone.

After the tire swing, Duckling went arond the house to the old people swing. She decided to get up, and go feed the flock. Today things are clcking for her.
She opened the barrel and eventually tipped it over trying to get the feed. :gig
I finally added another bag to make it easier.
She is getting control of the hose too. Tomorrow I will see if she can fill the water bowls without too much incident. Of course, she has to be expected to stick her hand in the spray while filling things! :lau

Thank you so much. I just noticed she? Has diarrhea and it is very sad.
I started with 6 eggs. 2 weren't fertile and 1 died, evidentially. I haven't cracked the egg but it never hatched and wasn't moving.
The strong 2 are happy and running around and eating.
Just wish I knew what to do for the week one. She is stronger than last night. Her diarrhea is new though?
Can you post a picture of her poop? What are you feeding her? Is she warm enough?
